The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Armenia Supports Bilateral Cooperation Between the Personal Data Protection Authorities of Armenia and the Czech Republic

On January 10, 2025, the Head of the Personal Data Protection Agency, Mr. Grigor Nersisyan, hosted the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Mr. Petr PírĹŻnÄŤík, and Consul Mr. Tomáš Malík.

During the meeting, Mr. Nersisyan emphasized that one of the Agency’s key priorities is establishing and fostering direct bilateral cooperation with the competent authority of the Czech Republic, a member state of the European Union. Such collaboration is crucial for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of personal data protection. He also praised the Czech Republic’s Office for Personal Data Protection, recognizing its significant contributions to the advancement of personal data protection rights.

In response, Ambassador Mr. PírĹŻnÄŤík expressed his readiness to support the formation of direct cooperation between the personal data protection authorities of the two countries and to promote the implementation of joint programs.

The participants agreed to continue their collaboration, aiming to establish comprehensive and effective cooperation in the field of personal data protection.
